Alex in Mesozoica-2

Alex crouched in the grass, trying not to move (You may have thought he was intelligent to get such an idea, but actually, he was copying Dr Alan Grant in “Jurassic Park”!). The Deinonychus towered over him, looking for any movement. It hadn’t seen him! Suddenly, an ancient fly buzzed near Alex’s nose. The fly was then inhaled by Alex by mistake! “AHH…AHHH…..AHHH—CHOO!”he sneezed. “ Roar? The Deinonychus growled in surprise. “Roar…Ploop! Drang.. Groopeddd..Phloap!” it called. Alex turned around and fled. The Deinonychus ran after him, still making its weird sounds. He ran and ran and ran and the Deinonychus ran after him! Finally, Alex climbed up a tall tree and stayed there, trembling. When he looked down, he saw at least three Deinonychus, growling and snapping their jaws. I can’t go down now, Alex realized. If I do, I will get torn apart by these raptors. (“Deinonychus” is a long name, so I will call it/ them as “raptor” from now. I will also call every member of the raptor family as raptors) It became dark, and Alex went to sleep in the tree.

It was morning. The raptors were asleep under the tree. Alex waited and waited, but they did not leave. Finally, he thought of a trick. He looked in his pockets and found a catapult, some stones, a camera, and a mirror. He took the catapult and shot a stone at one of the raptors. “Roo!? Graaah! Aaaarghhh!” it roared, waking all the other raptors. All of the raptors looked up and growled. Alex grinned. His plan was working! He raised the mirror and showed it to the raptors. The raptors, on seeing it, thought that there were other raptors trapped in the strange glass item (the mirror)! They hissed and barked and growled at the mirror, but whatever they did, the raptors in the mirror did too! Finally, Alex kept the mirror in his pocket and took out the camera. In it, he had taken a video of a Tyrannosaurus Rex roaring. He had pirated it from a dinosaur movie for fun. When he played the video in front of the raptors, they fled, yowling and howling. Alex leapt down the tree and ran after the raptors with the video set to REPEAT. The poor creatures ran and ran until Alex left them alone, and that was only because the video had become unclear. He decided that the only option he had was to explore the land of Mesozoica . And so, he set out.

Newspaper time!

Alex in Mesozoica-1

Once there was a boy named Alex. He had three brothers and they were Tummer, John, and Carper(their parents both went for work). Alex lived with his parents and older brothers in Florida. But he was very, very bored of his life. He spent hours in his school library. He loved books, and his favorite topic was prehistory.

One day, Alex was watching a movie called ¨Mesozoic Animals¨ at home, when suddenly, he felt himself being pulled into the TV!You may ask, ¨how did this happen?¨. The answer is that, in the TV-controlling-office, the man who did the program setting, had asked for leave after telling another man to control. And the second man was a wizard. And, by mistake, he had poured his magic ¨Pulling Potion¨ into Alex´s TV connection!Now, Alex fell into the movie!¨Aaaaah!¨ he shouted.Then THUMP! He landed on solid ground! ¨Ooh! Where am I?¨ he said.(He didn´t know that he fell into the TV;he forgot.)  Then Alex stood up and looked around him. And there,crouching behind him, was a Deinonychus.

Ballad of A Pirate

Brum-dum-de-dum, its a pirate’s life for me !
I climb across the masts
I sail over the sea
I pick everything
I nick everything.

When I look at the sky,
I wish  I could fly !
I want to cry
for I cannot fly !

My ship is a vessel
NOT a brussel
And in real life
I love to use my knife,
but never had a wife !

I love to slay
thats my play
I eat rats…
For I am a pirate!

The Three Bears

There once were three bears
who would never hurt a hare.

They lived in a house
That was quiet as a mouse.

And then,  one day,
came a girl, who played.

She saw the house
and stepped  on a louse.

She impolitely went in
and tripped on a bin.
¨Aieegh!¨she said,
¨Bye!¨she yelled.

She ran out
and met the three bears.
Who, stamping on sand,
were returning to their lairs.

The girl screamed, and,
fled to her realms.

The Deep End

My little brother and I used to go for swimming classes. My batch swam in a baby pool. For the first few days, I enjoyed it. Then one day our coach took us to the bigger pool´s deep end! Many boys and girls were braver than me so they went first. They easily swam to the other end. When my turn came, I started to tremble. I said “Sir, please, I can´t…!¨. But the coach pushed me into the water. I thought I would drwon, but I did not! I kicked the water and pushed it with my hands. Soon I was on the other side! After that I loved the ´deep end´.
