Haiku time

I am reading a wonderful book called “The World of Zen”. It is a compilation of writings in zen buddhism. I find it awesome. Any page you turn into offers you new insight; enables you to see things in a different light.I will share some Haikus here from the book.

A fallen leaf
Returning to the branch?

Walking in the winter rain
The umbrella
Pushes me back.

Evening rain.
The banana leaf
Speaks of it first.

The beauty of any haiku is that it just hints at a glance of a scene/situation and leaves the rest to the imagination of the reader. The above ones are like stills from a movie. You can proceed to the next scene or go back in time and build your own movie!
